SCIF, BUILDING 2185
PAX RIVER NAVAL AIR STATION, PAXTUXENT RIVER, MD

Room 1A30 in Building B2185 at Naval Air Station PAX River (Main Base) was renovated to be a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and to be compliant with all current codes and standards.
 
The 2,500 square foot renovation consisted of upgrading the room envelope, the ceiling, the HVAC system, the electrical power and lighting system, the telecommunication and security systems, and all incidental work required to achieve the mission statement and purpose for the project.  All upgrades and modifications had to be UFC, NFPA, and IBC compliant, economical to maintain and operate, robust, reliable, and had to be the proper system for the use and surroundings.
 
As well as providing a complete design for the construction at B2185, we also provided a comprehensive Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) Package. Our interiors department worked hand in hand with the client and NAVFAC’s interior designer to ensure the package met their every want and need. ​
