DESIGN BUILD SERVICES FOR HURRICANE SANDY WATERFRONT REBUILDING AND REPAIR AT U.S. COAST GUARD AIDE TO NAVIGATION TEAM (ANT) NEW YORK
BAYONNE, NJ

The scope of work included the design of a new DHS Cutter Operations Building at ANT New York located on the waterfront in Bayonne, NJ. The new building is expected to replace an existing triple wide trailer which measures approximately 36-ft by 70-ft by 12-ft.  The building is approximately 5,000 GSF (2500 square feet on each floor) with two floors. This facility included administrative space on a second floor and storage space below on the first level designed to accommodate the storage of items that are offloaded from coast guard ships.

This work also included the demolition of the existing electrical distribution equipment located outside the existing facility to include but not be limited to pad mounted transformer, distribution panels, disconnect switches and the concrete foundation. 

The scope of work also included the design of repairs to the ANT New York L-Dock, V-Pier, S-Pier and steel walkway.  In addition, the design also included an extension to the ANT New York V-Pier; the extension was 18-ft to 125-ft to both legs.
